2009 bet awards
Well, i just got finished watching a taped version of the 2009 bet awards from last nite & i must say, bob johnson would be rolling over in his grave if he was dead..lol..but i did enjoy the show cuz its like the only black music award show on tv..so they really need to represent..i think chris tucker would’ve made a better host then jamie foxx, there was too much dead time between transitions. jamie did his thang but i think he was a little too rambunctious tat evenings event..as for neyo..he was cool i guess, but watching him just made you wanna say..hey, where’s usher?..& what about chirs brown?..word on the street is jay z didnt wanna share the stage with chris to defend rihanna’s honor. So the folks at bet canceled chris’ show. How dare they have a supposed michael jackson tribute show without chirs brown usher & chris tucker?..somehow they got mr joe jackson to show up, but i do think it was strange that none of the other jacksons were in attendance, as they did use michael jackson almost as the reason for holding the show. back to mr jay z..i think his entrance & performance were great,( why am i giving sir jay his propz while have a fuck jay z song just below?, because im not a hater & i give credit when credit due..back to business..lol) new edition/ ralph tresvant sounded kinda bad, & what was that with wyclef he didnt look too happy about not receiving an award…lol..alicia keys could’ve at least called him on stage with her, but thats how the game go..on to the pre ojays performance with tyrese, johnny gill & trey songz…does johnny gill look a lil psycho when he sings or is it just me?..tyrese was cool but trey songz really impressed me with his vocals, but as a fan i would have rather seen r. kelly in his spot..mabey jay wouldnt go for that either..i think mr eddie levert was looking a lil psyco also while wating for his chance to speak, & don cornealious…wow..lol..i will just leave it at that. but didnt it feel good to see tevin cambell on stage rippin?..that guy has talent for real!..reminded me of maxwell’s performance last year. soulja boy rocked..why was snoop on stage, ciara did her thang, soulja boy rocked..beyonce was yesteryear dont bring jamie back for the next. (correction)I just saw janet jackson’s final goodbye to her brother on youtube from the awards..heartbreaking.
Well , i guess my taped version ended extra early cuz im just now seeing the drake a lil wayne performance (7/2/09) well well well,..what was that shit?..lol drake stand up!..no nigga i mean really, stand up..lo.. what was with the stool?..at least he knew the words to the song, more then i can say for birdman..no commet on lil wayne exept for the fact that he couldnt clean up his verse for the show..wow..not a good look..might not see lil weezy on stage next year..lol..& wasn’t j millz on that song too?..& what was with the little kids? bunk show young money.
